1. Introduction
Welcome to Physics app (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information for our educational app available on the App Store.

2. No Data Collection

We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal or non-personal data from users.
There is no analytics or usage tracking integrated: we do not monitor what students do in the app.

3. Camera Access & AR Functionality

The app requires access to your device’s camera solely to render augmented-reality content.
All image processing occurs locally on the device. We do not capture, record, transmit, or store any images or video from the camera feed.

4. Student Privacy & Parental Assurance

We respect the privacy of all learners. No student information—names, grades, progress, or usage patterns—is ever collected.
We do not share any user activity with third parties.

5. Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. Since we collect no data, parental consent is not required or requested.

6. Compliance

Because we do not collect any data, our app is designed to comply with global privacy regulations (e.g., COPPA, GDPR).
Should any future updates require data collection, you will be clearly informed and required to provide explicit consent.

7. AI Tutor

What happens when you use the AI Tutor.

When you use the AI Tutor feature, the text you submit (your “prompt”) and relevant context you choose to include are sent to Google’s Gemini 2.5 Flash to generate an AI response. This transmission is necessary to provide the feature.

What we store.

We do not store your AI Tutor prompts or responses on our own servers.

What Google may store / retention

Google publishes policies explaining how prompts and outputs may be handled for Gemini services:

For Gemini on Google Cloud / Vertex AI, Google states it won’t use customer data to train or fine-tune models without permission, and describes scenarios where customer data may be retained for limited periods (and options for “zero data retention” configurations in certain cases).

Because Gemini processing is performed by Google, your AI Tutor text is subject to Google’s applicable terms and data governance for the Gemini service you use.

8. Subscriptions (Physics+)

Physics+ offers auto-renewing subscriptions:

Purchases are processed by Apple In-App Purchase. We do not receive your payment card information. Apple may provide us limited purchase/entitlement information to confirm whether your subscription is active.

You can manage or cancel your subscription in iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Physics (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

2. License to Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on any compatible iOS device that you own or control, solely for educational, non-commercial purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

3. App Content

All text, graphics, images, animations, and other content in the App are owned or licensed by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

4. No Data Collection

The App collects no personal or usage data from you.
We do not monitor, record, or share your activities within the App.
Camera access is used solely to render AR content locally; no images or video are captured, transmitted, or stored.

5. User Conduct
You agree not to use the App to:

Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right.
Harass, threaten, or defame any person or group.
Upload or transmit viruses or malicious code.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise access source code.

6. Intellectual Property Rights
All rights, title, and interest in and to the App (including any updates or enhancements) remain with us or our licensors. Your use of the App does not grant you any ownership rights.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

“As Is”: The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

8. Physics+ Subscriptions (Monthly / Yearly)

Physics app offers optional paid subscriptions (“ Physics+”) as auto-renewing subscriptions (monthly and yearly) via Apple In-App Purchase.

2.1 Billing and renewal

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

2.2 Managing and canceling

You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device settings: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

2.3 Trials and introductory offers

If we offer a free trial or introductory price, any unused portion may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription (as applicable under Apple’s rules).

2.4 Price changes

Prices may change in accordance with App Store policies. We may also update pricing from time to time. Any changes will be handled through Apple’s subscription system and may require your confirmation where applicable.

2.5 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple under App Store policies. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases.

2.6 Restore purchases

If you reinstall the App or switch devices, you can use Restore Purchases (where provided) to restore access to Physics+.

9. AI Tutor Feature

6.1 No guarantees

AI Tutor responses are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You are responsible for how you use AI Tutor outputs. Do not rely on AI Tutor for medical, legal, or other professional advice.

6.2 Prohibited content

You agree not to use AI Tutor (or the App) to submit content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that violates the rights of others.

6.3 Privacy note

We do not store your AI Tutor prompts/responses on our own servers, but your prompts are processed by Google Cloud to provide the feature. See the Privacy Policy for details about processing and retention.
